Vivekananda Seva Mandal Dombivli (W) established in 1989 and registered with Charity Commissioner Thane aims to support needy and bright students to pursue their dreams in education. VSM is working relentlessly for upliftment of needy students. Initially educational aid was distributed in the form of Books, Note Books, Writing Material, School Bags and other necessary things for education. From last few years, aid is distributed as monetary gain to student and personal follow up is taken by members for proper utilization of fund by students.

Educational Aid is distributed under below mentioned 3 schemes:

• Dyaneshwar Dattak Palak Yojana: For students of standard from 1st to 12th
• Dronacharya Karjau Shishvrutti Yojana (Refundable Scheme): For the students pursuing Technical, Medical, Graduation, Post-Graduation and Professional courses
• Saraswati Vishesh Shaikshanik Yojana: Special students who have lost their Parents

Every year in the month of June, the survey is carried out by VSM team members to identify the needy and bright students. After receiving application in prescribed form with proper documents and recommendation amount is sanctioned and credited to bank account of the student.

• The funds are raised by collecting donations from generous donors.
• People make their birthdays and anniversaries more memorable by donating to VSM.
• Even we accept the Dakshina and Offerings in front Lord Ganesha (Ganesh Festival) Satyanarayan Pooja and Other Auspicious Festival.
• You can link your Fixed Deposit to VSM under this scheme only Interest will be credited to VSM account and your Principal amount will be returned to you after maturity.

• Regular filing of IT returns to Income Tax Department
• Compliance of Charity Commissioner.
• The most prestigious accomplishment for VSM is achieving
  "Lifetime 80G Income Tax ExemptionCertificate"
  The advantage of 80G is the donor gets 50% exemption in income tax

• To reach up to Maximum number of Students of Maharashtra state.
• To Increase the annual Educational Aid Amount under Various Schemes.
• To Conduct Educational Seminars / Workshops for Complete Development of the Students.
• To have lodging and boarding facility for student in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nasik.
